Three things we learned this quarter
Reflections from the team on what worked, what didn't, and what we're trying next.

Every quarter we sit down as a team and talk through what we learned. Here are three takeaways from this one.
1. Shipping smaller is shipping faster
We used to batch features into big releases. This quarter we tried shipping individual changes as soon as they were ready, and we shipped roughly twice as much as the previous quarter.
2. Documentation pays for itself in weeks
We put real effort into documenting our internal tools. Within a month, the time new hires needed to become productive dropped noticeably.
3. Customer calls beat surveys
Surveys gave us numbers. Calls gave us understanding.
