Welcome to our new website
We've launched a new site built on Hugo and the U.S. Web Design System. Here's what's new and what to expect.

We’re excited to launch our completely redesigned website. This post walks through what’s new, why we made the choices we did, and what’s coming next.
Why we redesigned
Our old site had served us well for years, but it was becoming hard to maintain and didn’t perform well on mobile. We wanted something:
- Fast — pages should load in under a second
- Accessible — usable by everyone, including assistive technology users
- Easy to update — content changes shouldn’t require a developer
- Credible-looking — design that signals professionalism
What we built it with
The site runs on Hugo, a static site generator, with components from the U.S. Web Design System. Every page is pre-rendered HTML served from a global CDN, so there’s no database to query and nothing to wait for.
The stack
- Hugo for the templating and build
- USWDS for accessible, well-tested components
- Cloudflare Pages for hosting and global delivery
- GitHub for content storage and version control
What’s next
Over the coming months, we’ll be publishing more in this space — both product updates and longer-form pieces about how we work. Subscribe via RSS to keep up.
